Knowledge Lawyer – Commercial Law (London)

About the role

Join a market‑leading legal intelligence business as a Knowledge Lawyer focused on commercial law. You will help build and develop a new commercial law knowledge service for top law firms and in‑house legal teams, enjoying greater flexibility and work‑life balance than traditional private practice.

Key responsibilities

• Research, draft, review and maintain high‑quality commercial law content.
• Develop practical guidance, precedents, legal updates and commentary.
• Monitor legal, regulatory and market developments relevant to subscribers.
• Collaborate with legal specialists, knowledge lawyers and editorial teams.
• Support customer engagement by responding to content‑related queries.
• Contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of the knowledge platform.
• Work alongside product and development teams to improve content delivery and user experience.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 5 years' post‑qualification experience.
• Strong commercial law expertise gained in private practice, chambers or a comparable environment.
• Experience in commercial litigation and/or international arbitration, or non‑contentious commercial transactions.
• Exceptional legal drafting and analytical abilities.
• Proven ability to communicate complex legal issues clearly and effectively.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with wider teams.
• Genuine interest in knowledge management, legal publishing or legal intelligence.
