Korean‑Speaking Junior Banker – Loan Operations

About the role

The client is a reputable international bank located in the heart of the City of London. They are looking for a Korean‑speaking Junior Banker to support loan operations, agency functions and post‑loan management, and to prepare regulatory and statistical reports.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and review KYC and credit information for new counterparties and support loan approval, documentation, execution and disbursement.
• Review finance and security documents as Facility or Security Agent, monitor covenants and notify borrowers of payments.
• Maintain transaction files in the ABIS system and manage original loan‑related documents.
• Perform periodic KYC renewal, track payment schedules and conduct ongoing credit monitoring.
• Draft Korean regulatory/statistical reports for the Financial Supervisory Service and Head Office.

Required profile

• Fluent in both Korean and English.
• Relevant experience in the financial industry or a degree in finance, accounting or management.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent numerical, analytical and reporting abilities.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
