About the role

Reed Education is seeking a dedicated KS1 Primary Teacher to join a vibrant primary school in Brighton. This full‑time, permanent role offers the chance to shape young learners’ early experiences and contribute to a supportive, nurturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging KS1 lessons that meet the national curriculum standards.
• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback and tailor support to help each child reach their potential.
• Create a positive, stimulating classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity and enthusiasm for learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents and the wider school community to enhance student outcomes.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions and school events.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
• Proven experience teaching KS1 or a similar early‑years role.
• Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire young learners.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
