KS1 Teacher – Supply Positions in Wakefield Catholic Schools

About the role

The Catholic Diocesan Supply Service (CDSS), in partnership with Academics, is looking for enthusiastic Key Stage 1 (KS1) teachers to provide daily and short‑term cover for Catholic primary schools in the Wakefield area. This is a supply position that supports the Catholic ethos while delivering high‑quality primary education.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver planned KS1 curriculum and adapt lessons to meet individual pupil needs.
• Maintain classroom discipline and create a safe, inclusive learning environment.
• Mark and provide feedback on student work in a timely manner.
• Follow each school’s policies, procedures and planning requirements.
• Engage pupils with creative extension activities to keep learning dynamic.
