About the role

Hays Education is seeking enthusiastic KS2 supply teachers to work in primary schools across Sussex and Hampshire. The role offers flexible working options, allowing you to teach from one day a week up to full‑time, in a variety of long‑term, day‑to‑day and permanent placements.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the KS2 curriculum to pupils in a supportive classroom environment.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to diverse abilities.
• Collaborate with school staff and contribute to a strong, committed team.
• Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and attendance.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience working in a school environment.
• Genuine passion for teaching and connecting with pupils.
• Collaborative approach and willingness to be part of a strong school team.
• Creativity, enthusiasm and a positive attitude towards learning.
