KS2 Teacher – Bridge Year 7 Learning in Liverpool

About the role
Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated KS2 Teacher to join a secondary school in Liverpool. The role focuses on bridging the transition from Year 6 to Year 7 by delivering primary‑style instruction and tailored academic support.
Key responsibilities
- Create and manage a primary‑style classroom environment within the secondary school.
- Collaborate with feeder primary schools to identify curriculum content already covered by students.
- Design and deliver bespoke bridging units that ensure a seamless progression into Year 7.
- Provide both academic and emotional support to students throughout the school day (8:30 am – 4:00 pm).
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Right to work in the United Kingdom.
- Up‑to‑date safeguarding training (desirable, training can be provided).
- Enhanced DBS certificate with online update service, or willingness to obtain one.
- Two professional references covering the last 24 months.
Required skills
What we offer
- Full‑time, temporary (fixed‑term) contract starting September 2026.
- Daily rate between £110 and £210.
