KS2 Teacher – Primary School (Full‑time Contractor)

About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to join our primary school in Bournemouth. You will deliver the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum, inspire pupils and support their academic, social and emotional development.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the KS2 curriculum.
- Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
- Assess, monitor and report on pupils’ progress and attainment.
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND and EAL.
- Prepare pupils for statutory assessments such as SATs.
- Foster positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
- Contribute to curriculum planning and wider school initiatives.
- Uphold safeguarding procedures and promote pupil wellbeing.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching at Key Stage 2 (early‑career teachers welcome).
- Strong knowledge of the KS2 National Curriculum.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Passion for delivering engaging and inspiring learning experiences.
- Commitment to high standards of teaching and pupil achievement.
- Positive, adaptable and collaborative approach.
- Dedication to safeguarding and child welfare.
