KS2 Teacher – Primary School – Islington (Full‑time, £40k‑£52k)

About the role

The school in Islington is seeking a qualified KS2 Teacher to join its primary team from September. You will lead a class of 27 pupils, delivering engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons across all subjects.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver creative lessons for Key Stage 2, ensuring progress across the curriculum.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners, including pupils with SEN such as ASD and non‑verbal learners.
• Assess student work, provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate records of achievement.
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom environment where every child feels motivated.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and support whole‑school initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England.
• Proven experience teaching KS2 pupils in a primary setting.
• Ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learners, including those with special educational needs.
• Strong commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning community.

Required skills

• Curriculum planning and delivery for Key Stage 2.
• Classroom management and behaviour support.
