Landing Gear Avionics Test & Flight Analysis Engineering Placement

About the role

We are looking for a university student interested in a 12.5‑month placement where you will design and conduct tests on fuel and landing‑gear avionics test benches and support flight‑test analysis activities.

Key responsibilities

• Support aircraft certification through integrated rig and flight testing and analysis.
• Establish and improve the maturity of aircraft systems in collaboration with other engineering teams.
• React to and help resolve in‑service system issues.
• Aim for product safety beyond certification requirements.
• Implement synergies and alignment between rig and flight test.

Required profile

• Studying towards a degree in Engineering or Science.
• Data analysis, report writing and presentation skills.
• Knowledge or experience of programming languages such as C, Python, TCL, Matlab, Google Apps Script.
• Excited by technical challenges and solving problems.
• Committed to delivering on time.
• Good interpersonal skills and capable of working as a team.
