Laundry Deputy General Manager – North London

About the role

We are seeking an experienced commercial laundry manager ready to step up and develop into a General Manager role. Based in North London, you will lead a busy laundry operation, driving performance and preparing for senior leadership responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day laundry operations, ensuring quality, efficiency and health‑safety compliance.
• Manage staff scheduling, training and performance to meet service level agreements.
• Control inventory, procurement and cost‑management of chemicals, equipment and supplies.
• Analyse operational data to identify productivity improvements and cost‑saving opportunities.
• Support the General Manager in strategic planning, budgeting and stakeholder communication.

Required profile

• Proven experience in commercial laundry management or a similar operations role.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage large‑scale facilities.
• Strong understanding of health, safety and environmental standards in laundry environments.
• Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
