Lead Data Analyst

About the role

We're looking for a Lead Data Analyst to build and own the central view of company performance, proactively identify shifts and find strategic opportunities to improve growth, profitability and efficiency. The ideal candidate is highly curious, action‑oriented and combines strong technical expertise with excellent communication and business sense.

Key responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders across the business to build central company‑level monitoring that drives decisions.
• Define and proactively monitor KPIs to identify performance shifts.
• Lead strategic deep‑dives to uncover opportunities for improving YouLend.
• Translate business insights into actionable plans and secure senior stakeholder alignment.
• Raise analytical standards across the company, including testing, dashboard design, documentation and storytelling.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in an analytics role.
• Proven ability to work with cross‑functional groups to align metric definitions and build central KPI monitoring.
• Track record of identifying strategic opportunities and shaping business narratives.
• Experience thriving in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments.
• Capability to mentor and upskill other analysts and business stakeholders.

Required skills

• Strong SQL and Python skills.
• Experience building impactful dashboards.
• Solid knowledge of applied statistics and strong analytical thinking.
• Familiarity with dbt and analytics engineering best practices.
