Lead Door Engineer – Installations

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Door Engineer to join a rapidly expanding, family‑owned construction business. The role is based in the East Midlands and involves installing commercial doors on new builds and retrofits across the UK, with a standard Monday‑Friday schedule and ample overtime opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Install commercial doors, including automatic, security, fire, and roller‑shutter systems, on new builds and existing structures.
• Interpret and adapt engineering drawings to site conditions.
• Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring work is completed on schedule.
• Travel to sites and occasionally stay overnight as required.

Required profile

• Valid UK driving licence.
• CSCS card (reference BBBH277484).
• Familiarity with PDA devices for on‑site documentation.
• Experience in the door industry, preferably with industrial, automatic, or roller‑shutter doors.
