Lead Electrical Engineer

About the role

Smart Managed Solutions is looking for a Lead Electrical Engineer to work on-site at a tenant contract in Tottenham Court Road, London. The role covers the day shift, Monday to Friday, split between 7am-4pm and 1pm-10pm. The purpose is to supervise the day-to-day operation of the day shift, carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive works on building systems within the contracted area of responsibility.

Key responsibilities

• Make sure routine PPM is carried out on all mechanical and electrical plant according to site task schedules and asset lists.
• Complete reactive tasks across the building and proactively highlight areas for improvement, including concessionary stores and fabric-related items.
• Remedy plant faults and defects quickly so the plant stays in serviceable order.
• Keep suitable spares available for maintenance and reactive work, and provide parts lists and estimated timescales for remedial work.

Required profile

• Formal training in City and Guilds Electrical Installations Level 3 or the equivalent NVQ.
