Lead Product Designer, Healthcare Platform

About the role

Eucalyptus is the parent company of Hims & Hers, a consumer healthcare platform supporting millions of patients across many countries. It is looking for a Lead Product Designer in London to own a problem area across connected surfaces, from definition to delivery, in a regulated market. The role spans research, design, UX writing, validation and experimentation.

Key responsibilities

• Own a problem area end to end, from problem definition and research to information architecture, UX writing and delivery.
• Drive the work without waiting for a spec, and move commercial outcomes such as activation, conversion, retention and adherence.
• Create designs that build trust and hold up in a regulated market.
• Prototype in code with AI tools such as Claude Code and Cursor, and run A/B tests and usability experiments.

Required profile

• Typically 8 years or more in product design, with a track record of owning a domain, building systems and developing other designers.
• Portfolio showing problem-solving that moved a commercial lever, including contribution to a Design System and use of AI; applications without a portfolio will not be considered.
• Patient-first mindset, collaborative across product, engineering and clinical teams, and curiosity.

Required skills

• Strong visual craft: typography, spacing, colour, motion and micro-interactions.
• Inclusive accessibility design.
• Systems thinking across mobile and emerging platforms such as AI-native interfaces.
• Clear, opinionated communication and early sharing of work.
