Lead Project Manager – Sustainable Distribution Centre

About the role

Yusen Logistics is seeking a Lead Project Manager to oversee new business implementations and facility upgrade projects at its Sustainable Distribution Centre in Northampton. You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to client expectations while supporting a hybrid working model.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives, workstreams and deliverables.
• Create detailed project plans and allocate resources.
• Manage project budgets, costs, quality and timelines using Yusen’s project management methodology.
• Coordinate internal teams (operations, IT, HR, HS&E) and third‑party vendors.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Provide guidance and support to the project team and oversee departmental budgets.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering logistics or supply‑chain projects of similar scale.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple business functions.
• Experience managing budgets and adhering to governance frameworks.

• Salary £55,000‑£60,000 per annum (DOE).
