Lead Protection Broker – Life, Critical Illness & Business Protection

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Protection Broker to join a fast‑growing mortgage brokerage in London. The role focuses on cross‑selling life insurance, critical illness cover, accidental and sickness insurance (ASU) and business protection solutions to our mortgage client base.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage a pipeline of protection products for mortgage customers.
• Collaborate closely with mortgage brokers to identify cross‑selling opportunities.
• Provide expert advice on life, critical illness, ASU and business protection policies.
• Build and nurture relationships with insurers and underwriting partners.
• Support the creation and growth of a dedicated team of protection brokers.

Required profile

• Proven track record in protection or insurance sales.
• Strong understanding of life, critical illness and business protection products.
• Self‑driven, ambitious and able to work independently.
• Interest in developing and leading a small specialist team.

Required skills

• Knowledge of UK protection insurance regulations.
• Ability to assess client needs and match appropriate products.
