Lead Psychologist (Part‑time) with £4,000 Welcome Bonus

About the role

Join Cygnet’s Alders Clinic in Gloucester as a Lead Psychologist on a part‑time basis (32 hrs/week). You will work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality psychological assessments, therapy and support for women with personality disorders and complex needs.

Key responsibilities

• Work as a team psychologist within a multidisciplinary team (MDT).
• Conduct psychological assessments and provide individual and group therapy.
• Collaboratively develop care plans with the MDT.
• Provide training, supervision and consultation to colleagues.
• Evaluate the service, contribute to its development and carry out clinical research.
• Disseminate outcomes via conference presentations and publications.

Required profile

• HCPC‑registered Clinical, Forensic or Counselling Psychologist.
• Experience in a clinical forensic or mental health setting, preferably within a personality‑disorder service.
• Training in complex therapies such as Schema‑focused, Cognitive‑Analytical and DBT.
• Passion for working with complex mental health needs, including self‑harm, aggression, sexual offending history and substance misuse.
