Lead Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

Lead Site Reliability Engineer responsible for ensuring reliability, scalability and performance of FNZ’s wealth‑management platforms. Works closely with Application, Infrastructure and Network Engineering teams to design, deploy and operate mission‑critical services using cloud‑native and automation practices.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain high availability and performance of FNZ platforms.
• Implement monitoring, alerting and observability solutions to detect and resolve issues proactively.
• Design and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Provision and manage infrastructure with Terraform across on‑premise and public cloud environments.
• Operate and optimise workloads on public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on‑premise data centres.
• Manage application delivery networks, load balancers and traffic routing, including F5 Distributed Cloud or similar CDN/ADC technologies.
• Participate in on‑call rotations, perform root‑cause analysis and drive preventive actions.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Application, Infrastructure and Network Engineering teams.

Required profile

• Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent collaboration skills across multiple engineering disciplines.
• Passion for automation and reducing operational toil.
• Experience leading reliability initiatives in complex, regulated environments.

Required skills

• Kubernetes (container orchestration and cluster management).
• Terraform (Infrastructure as Code).
• Public cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• F5 Distributed Cloud or comparable CDN/ADC solutions.
• Networking fundamentals, load balancing and traffic routing.
• Observability tools such as Splunk or New Relic.
• Scripting/automation with Bash (or similar).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows.
