About the role

As a Lead Software Engineer specializing in JavaScript, you will join JPMorgan Chase's Enterprise Technology Infrastructure Platforms team in Bournemouth. The position blends hands‑on development with community leadership, driving both product delivery and the vibrant Vector community across the firm.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and deliver Vector community events, partnering with regional leads and acting as an ambassador.
• Own and evolve key internal applications such as CIAO, CodeComp, and SANTA.
• Contribute to additional upcoming applications and support the team’s AI‑assisted engineering practices.
• Promote secure coding, peer review, and automated testing standards across the team.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading software projects and mentoring developers.
• Comfortable switching between deep technical work and community coordination.
• Strong communication skills to facilitate sessions and engage with a global volunteer network.
