Lead Solicitor - Subrogated Recoveries / Credit Hire

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Solicitor to establish and head a new subrogated recoveries function. This senior legal position will shape the department, develop insurer and accident management company relationships, and drive strategic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Build and lead the subrogated recoveries team.
• Develop and manage relationships with insurers and accident management companies.
• Oversee RTA and credit hire litigation matters.
• Lead a high‑performing legal team and manage client relationships.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities within the insurance sector.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor (CILEX qualification also considered).
• Proven track record of winning own work and generating new business.
• Strong background in First Party Recovery and Subrogated Recoveries.
• Experience managing legal teams and client relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to win business from insurers and accident management companies.
