About the role
Leonard Curtis is seeking a hands‑on Learning and Development Manager to be the face of L&D across its UK offices. You will spend the majority of your time delivering engaging, in‑person training and supporting existing programmes, ensuring colleagues have the knowledge and confidence to perform at their best.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging training programmes, from inductions to manager and leadership development.
- Partner with leaders to roll out practical learning solutions that meet business needs.
- Create and deliver both face‑to‑face and online training, using external providers when required.
- Champion a culture of continuous learning, coaching and development for all staff.
- Develop apprenticeship, graduate and clear career pathways, including succession planning.
- Manage inductions, mandatory training and professional qualification requirements.
- Use data and management information to track learning activity, outcomes and drive improvements.
Required profile
- Experience as a learning and development practitioner in a commercial, fast‑paced environment.
- Licensed Insights Practitioner.
- Proven track record designing and delivering face‑to‑face training (induction, mandatory, soft‑skills, leadership).
- Strong presentation skills adaptable to varied audiences.
- Ability to build relationships with stakeholders across multiple UK offices.
- Willingness to travel regularly across the UK.
- Coaching and mentoring capability to support development plans.
- Understanding of L&D tools, ROI measurement and evaluation methods.
- Experience using data and MI to inform learning improvements.
- Knowledge of career development, succession planning and qualification pathways.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Proactive, flexible and able to work both independently and as part of the HR team.
