Learning and Development Manager

About the role

The Learning and Development Manager will shape and execute Tikehau Capital’s global L&D strategy, ensuring that training initiatives directly support the firm’s business objectives. Reporting to senior leadership, you will lead a team, manage external partners, and drive a culture of continuous development across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and lead the global L&D strategy, aligning programmes with corporate goals.
• Conduct training needs assessments, identify skills gaps and recommend targeted learning solutions.
• Create and oversee a portfolio of programmes, including e‑learning courses, workshops, leadership and technical skill development.
• Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) and other training technologies.
• Negotiate with external L&D suppliers to secure cost‑effective, high‑quality services.
• Establish metrics, evaluate ROI and report L&D performance to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with Human Capital to align L&D with succession planning and talent pipelines.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, particularly in France.
• Lead, mentor and set performance objectives for the L&D team.

Required profile

• Degree in HR, Business Management, Organizational Development or related field; postgraduate qualification preferred.
• 7‑10 years of senior L&D experience with a proven record of strategy development and implementation.
• Strong business acumen and ability to link learning outcomes to results.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder‑influence skills.
• Project‑management expertise and ability to manage complex, global initiatives.
• Analytical capability to assess programme effectiveness and present data‑driven insights.
