Learning & Development Specialist

About the role

Artis Recruitment is partnering with a fast‑paced business to hire a Learning & Development Specialist who will design and deliver high‑impact blended learning solutions. This role focuses on instructional design, creating engaging digital and face‑to‑face experiences that directly support business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop blended learning programmes across digital, virtual and classroom formats.
• Build structured learning pathways for multiple roles and business functions.
• Create digital assets such as videos, toolkits, and interactive learning resources.
• Conduct learning needs analyses and translate business challenges into effective solutions.
• Collaborate with People Partners, operational leaders and subject‑matter experts to align learning with priorities.
• Facilitate workshops and learning sessions as required.
• Evaluate programme effectiveness and iterate content based on feedback and performance data.
• Stay current with modern learning technologies and instructional design best practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing blended learning programmes using instructional design principles.
• Demonstrated ability to create engaging digital learning content and video‑based resources.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with confidence to influence and advise.
• Background in a fast‑paced commercial environment such as FMCG, manufacturing, retail or logistics.
• Excellent facilitation and communication abilities.
