About the role
We are seeking a Learning & Development Trainer to deliver high‑quality, engaging and compliant training across our nationwide sites. Working from home with regular travel, you will support colleagues in understanding statutory responsibilities, organisational policies and best‑practice health and safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Design and deliver face‑to‑face and virtual training sessions using adult‑learning methodologies.
- Provide Health & Safety training aligned with NEBOSH principles, covering risk assessment, fire safety, manual handling, incident reporting, workplace hazards, personal safety, wellbeing and first aid.
- Maintain accurate attendance records and manage training data in the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Build relationships with operational teams to identify local risks and training needs.
- Collaborate with the L&D content team and Health & Safety specialists to develop and update training materials.
- Evaluate training effectiveness, identify gaps and recommend improvements.
- Act as a subject‑matter expert on safe working practices and support audits, compliance reviews and change initiatives.
Required profile
- Proven experience delivering engaging training to diverse audiences.
- Experience delivering mandatory training or similar programmes.
- Strong presentation, facilitation and communication abilities.
- Knowledge of adult‑learning principles and ability to adapt to different learning styles.
- CIPD Level 3, Award in Education & Training (AET) or equivalent qualification.
- Willingness to travel nationally for face‑to‑face sessions.

- Permanent full‑time role with a salary of £30,000 per year plus a £3,000 car allowance.
