Learning Support Assistant – One-to-One Teaching Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to work one‑to‑one with a Year 4 pupil at a Bradford primary school. The role focuses on delivering a personalised learning programme that aligns with the Year 2 curriculum, helping the child build confidence, independence and make accelerated progress.

Key responsibilities

• Provide consistent, high‑quality one‑to‑one support tailored to the pupil’s individual needs.
• Facilitate access to a personalised curriculum and classroom learning activities.
• Collaborate closely with the class teacher and wider school team to implement appropriate learning strategies.
• Encourage and celebrate progress, fostering confidence, resilience and independence.
• Monitor the pupil’s progress and contribute to identifying next steps in learning.
• Create a safe, encouraging and inclusive learning environment throughout the school day.
