Learning Support Assistant – Primary School (Full‑time)

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Castle Point, Essex. You will work alongside teachers to help pupils achieve their full potential in a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist teachers in delivering lessons and providing one‑to‑one support for pupils.
• Encourage independence and confidence in students during learning activities.
• Communicate clearly with teachers, parents, and students about progress and needs.
• Help maintain a safe and inclusive classroom atmosphere.

Required profile

• Previous experience working in a school or childcare setting.
• Relevant childcare qualification or degree.
• Compassionate, caring and able to build positive relationships with children.
• Strong communication skills with staff and families.
