Learning Support Assistant – Secondary School (Ealing)

About the role

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming secondary school in Ealing from September 2026. You will help create an inclusive environment by supporting students with additional learning needs and working closely with teaching staff.

Key responsibilities

• Provide classroom support and targeted interventions for pupils with SEN.
• Assist teachers with lesson preparation and delivery.
• Support behaviour management and promote a positive learning atmosphere.
• Monitor and record student progress and share feedback with teachers.
• Help maintain a safe and supportive classroom environment.

Required profile

• Experience working with children or young people in a school or similar setting.
• A degree or relevant Level 3 qualification is desirable.
• Up‑to‑date safeguarding training (within the last year) – training can be provided.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Two professional references covering the last two years of work with children.

• Full‑time role (8 am‑4 pm) with a daily rate of £100‑£140, depending on experience.
