Leasing Pricing Specialist

About the role

Carwow is looking for a Leasing Pricing Specialist to ensure the UK leasing marketplace always offers the best‑priced, well‑covered deals. You will own the competitiveness of the marketplace, manage ratebooks, and guide Procurement and the commercial team on pricing strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse funder ratebooks and the Carwow marketplace to identify demand‑supply whitespace and advise Procurement on focus areas and price points.
• Own and manage all ratebooks, building custom ones when suppliers do not provide them and continuously improving the process.
• Upload ratebooks to the Carwow marketplace and third‑party aggregators, maintaining daily pricing accuracy.
• Act as the in‑office pricing expert for Procurement, evaluating dealer finance deals and commitment batches.
• Develop models and tooling, leveraging AI where useful, to speed up pricing and commercial decisions.
• Monitor supply and deal competitiveness across brands, models, categories and partners.
• Collaborate with the Marketplace commercial team to source the best supply from broker partners.
• Track competitor pricing and translate insights into clear guidance for Procurement and Marketplace teams.

Required profile

• Strong analytical skills with expert‑level proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Experience with BI tools such as Looker or Power BI and solid SQL knowledge.
• Comfortable building models and using AI tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor) to improve efficiency.
• Good understanding of vehicle leasing economics and ratebook mechanics.
• High attention to detail and ability to own daily operational processes.
• Commercially minded with the confidence to advise Procurement teams.
