Legal Adviser – Employment Law (UK)

About the role

Aon is seeking an experienced Employment Law Adviser to join its in‑house legal team. You will work closely with HR and business leaders, providing practical legal guidance on a wide range of UK employment matters while operating in a hybrid work model.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clear advice across the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and contracts to exits and restructures.
• Handle complex employee‑relations issues, including redundancy, TUPE, disciplinary and grievance cases.
• Manage Employment Tribunal claims and coordinate with external counsel when required.
• Support the development of HR policies, deliver training sessions, and embed best practice.
• Collaborate with the wider EMEA legal function on cross‑border employment matters.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor or barrister with strong UK employment law experience.
• Demonstrated ability to advise senior business stakeholders and work autonomously.
• Excellent communication skills and commercial awareness.
