Legal and Commercial Lead

About the role

This position sits at the heart of Penta Consulting’s technology‑resource business, overseeing all legal and commercial activities to ensure smooth, compliant operations. You will act as the primary point of contact for contracts and negotiations, supporting sales, operations, finance and compliance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full contract lifecycle for group companies, clients and suppliers – from initial review to execution, renewal and termination.
• Draft, review, negotiate and finalise a wide range of agreements, including NDAs, MSAs, MPAs, collaboration frameworks, RFIs, SOWs and amendments.
• Maintain and improve standard contract templates in line with regulatory changes and business needs.
• Serve as the main legal and commercial liaison for client and supplier relationships, handling queries and supporting negotiations.
• Monitor contractual compliance, flagging risks or breaches and ensuring alignment with internal policies and jurisdictional requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in an in‑house legal or commercial legal role, preferably within a commercial, operational or compliance environment.
• Strong understanding of legal agreements, commercial risk, compliance and best‑practice contract management.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and investigative mindset with high attention to detail.
