About the role
A 12‑month contract position has opened up for a Legal Cashier in the London office of a global law firm. The role works as part of the client account team, handling day‑to‑day financial operations for the firm’s London, Brussels, Dubai and Tokyo offices, creating a centre of excellence.
Key responsibilities
- Work as part of the client account team for the London office and support financial processing for Brussels, Dubai and Tokyo offices.
- Ensure accurate and timely posting of all transactions.
- Maintain full compliance with SRA Accounts Rules, VAT, AML and internal financial controls and policies.
- Provide essential support to projects and initiatives.
- Create a centre of excellence for multi‑jurisdictional finance operations.
- Handle VAT and AML reporting requirements.
Required profile
- Previous experience as a Legal Cashier covering both client and office accounts in a law firm.
- Up‑to‑date knowledge of the SRA Accounts Rules.
- Experience with Aderant Expert is desirable.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate with people at all levels within the firm and with clients.
