Legal & Compliance Operations Senior Specialist

About the role

Depop is looking for a Legal & Compliance Operations Senior Specialist to provide essential operational support for the company’s legal and regulatory compliance activities. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Regulatory Compliance, you will help ensure that Depop meets its legal, regulatory and trust‑related obligations efficiently and consistently.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the collection, management and delivery of compliance‑related information and data across internal and external stakeholders.
• Support the execution of key compliance initiatives and help operationalise regulatory requirements.
• Maintain up‑to‑date compliance documentation, trackers and reporting dashboards.
• Monitor changes in relevant regulations and advise relevant teams on necessary actions.
• Liaise with legal, product, finance and other cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment on compliance matters.
• Prepare regular reports for senior leadership on compliance status and risk mitigation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in legal or compliance operations, preferably within a technology‑driven or e‑commerce environment.
• Strong organisational and project‑management abilities with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders and manage competing priorities.
• Solid understanding of regulatory frameworks relevant to online marketplaces.
