Legal Counsel – Corporate & Commercial Law

About the role

Monex is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to join its London office. Reporting to the General Counsel, you will provide legal support to the Heads of Legal in the UK and Spain while also serving the broader global group of companies across Europe, North America and Asia.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate and review terms and conditions for foreign exchange contracts, referral contracts, amendment and novation agreements.
• Prepare and manage ISDA documentation, credit support documents, margin agreements and client guarantees.
• Support corporate reorganisations and perform corporate secretarial duties, including filings and appointments.
• Provide internal legal advice to senior management, Finance, HR, Compliance, Sales, Credit Risk and Treasury teams.
• Coordinate with external counsel and vendors, and represent the Legal department within Monex.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with experience in commercial and corporate matters, preferably in an in‑house setting.
• Proven ability to work across multiple jurisdictions and support global business units.
• Strong communication skills to interact with senior stakeholders and external parties.
