About the role

The Group Legal team at Man Group is seeking a Legal Counsel to support the firm’s commercial and corporate strategy. Based in London, the role works closely with colleagues across the US, Europe and Asia, providing legal advice on a wide range of matters that affect the investment management business.

Key responsibilities

Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts and respond to day‑to‑day legal queries.
Provide legal advice on corporate and commercial issues, escalating complex matters as needed.
Support corporate projects such as restructurings and acquisitions.
Collaborate with the data protection team on privacy compliance and related advice.
Assist the corporate real‑estate team with office lease matters.
Monitor legal and regulatory developments and help implement necessary changes.
Offer legal support to sales and marketing teams for the global distribution of investment products.
