Legal Counsel

About the role

A global client is looking for a commercially minded Legal Counsel to join its in‑house team. The role supports international operations across contractor workforce solutions and sits at the centre of a growing legal function, focusing on contractor terms, cross‑jurisdictional business terms, and employment‑related matters.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate contractor agreements and international terms of business.
• Advise on employment law and contingent‑workforce compliance across multiple countries.
• Support cross‑border operations and market‑expansion strategies.
• Partner with commercial teams to manage risk and design compliant engagement models.
• Handle disputes and provide pragmatic, business‑focused legal advice.
• Deliver guidance and training to internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer (UK or international) with approximately 3+ years of experience.
• Strong commercial contracts background, ideally within recruitment or workforce‑solutions environments.
• Experience with contractor models and international terms of business.
• Solid grounding in employment law.
• Confidence working with stakeholders in a fast‑paced, global business.
• French language skills are desirable.
