Legal Counsel – Litigation (Hybrid, West Yorkshire)

About the role

We are a high‑growth business services provider serving the technology and telecoms sector. We are looking for a Litigation‑focused Legal Counsel to join our Legal Operations Team in West Yorkshire, working two days a week on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Bring and defend claims for major consumer brands across areas such as breach of contract, debt recovery, discrimination, credit file issues, data protection and property damage.
• Advise internal and external stakeholders on consumer litigation matters.
• Mentor junior colleagues and support their development.
• Drive process improvements within the legal operations function.
• Stay up‑to‑date with consumer law, contribute to research projects and identify legal risks.

Required profile

• UK‑qualified Solicitor or CILEX member with 0–3 years post‑qualification experience in commercial, consumer or civil litigation.
• Strong relationship‑management and commercial reasoning abilities.
• High attention to detail, adaptability and a collaborative mindset in a fast‑paced environment.
