About the role
Join a forward‑thinking engineering organisation as a Legal Counsel within a small, in‑house legal team based in Sheffield. You will work across a wide range of legal matters, providing pragmatic advice to senior stakeholders and supporting strategic initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts.
- Advise on risk management, employment law, governance and compliance.
- Handle data protection, intellectual property and dispute resolution matters.
- Partner with business leaders to deliver legal solutions for strategic projects.
- Drive legal innovation, including the use of emerging technologies and AI.
Required profile
- Qualified solicitor in England & Wales.
- Experience with commercial contracts, either in‑house or in private practice.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Commercially minded and solutions‑focused approach.
