Legal Solutions Architect (CRE Lawyer)
orbital · London
Job description
About the role
As a Legal Solutions Architect (UK) at Orbital, you’ll sit at the intersection of commercial real estate law, product, and go‑to‑market execution. This client‑facing role supports commercial real‑estate legal customers both before and after sales, helping them adopt AI‑enabled solutions to accelerate due‑diligence, drafting and deal coordination.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with Account Executives in pre‑sales activities: run discovery sessions, tailor demos, design pilots and align Orbital Copilot with real‑world transactional workflows.
- Lead legal workflow discovery with partners, associates, PSLs and innovation teams to uncover pain points and define high‑impact use cases.
- Deliver customized product demonstrations, workshops and stakeholder sessions for specific practice groups and transaction types.
- Design and manage pilot programmes, measuring outcomes and driving conversion to commercial contracts.
- Collaborate with Customer Success on post‑sales onboarding, role‑based training and adoption coaching for lawyers and legal staff.
- Identify implementation friction, devise enablement and process‑design solutions, and support renewals and expansion.
- Translate customer feedback into actionable insights for Product and Engineering, and partner with Marketing on practice‑area collateral.
Required profile
- UK‑qualified solicitor or barrister currently practising (or recently practising) in commercial real estate law.
- Approximately 4–8+ years post‑qualification experience covering acquisitions, disposals, leasing, finance, construction or title reporting.
- Proven client‑facing ability, comfortable advising senior stakeholders such as partners and heads of real estate.
- Strong ability to break down complex legal work into clear, structured steps and communicate them effectively.
- High technical literacy and enthusiasm for learning how large‑language‑model AI adds value in legal environments.
- Thrives in a fast‑moving startup setting, taking ownership and adapting to evolving priorities.
What we offer
- Competitive salary with performance‑based bonus or commission and equity options.
- Matched pension contributions and flexible working hours with location flexibility.
- 25 days paid holiday plus bank holidays.
- Professional equipment, personal development budget and training opportunities.
- Cycle‑to‑work scheme and an inclusive community with all‑company off‑sites, lunches and socials.
