Legionella Consultant – Internal Only

About the role

Join Legionella Control International, part of the HSL Compliance Group, as a field‑based Legionella Consultant. You will work on high‑profile sites across the UK and potentially abroad, delivering expert water safety assessments and audits.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct Legionella and water safety risk assessments, produce technical reports and perform professional audits.
• Inspect complex hot/cold water systems, healthcare environments and cooling towers (training provided).
• Provide independent expert advice to clients and deliver Legionella awareness training courses.
• Work autonomously in the field while coordinating with central technical and commercial teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience conducting Legionella risk assessments on hot and cold water systems.
• Familiarity with ACOP L8 and HSG274; knowledge of HTM 04‑01 is highly preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail, strong problem‑solving abilities and high‑quality report writing skills.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide, with occasional international assignments.
