About the role

This part‑time, temporary position is for a Level 3 qualified Early Years Teaching Assistant or Nursery Assistant in a warm, welcoming setting in Ellesmere Port. You will support children during their early developmental stages, creating engaging learning experiences and helping each child reach their full potential.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the lead practitioner in planning and delivering age‑appropriate activities.
• Provide one‑to‑one and group support to children, fostering a safe and inclusive environment.
• Help maintain a tidy, stimulating classroom and prepare learning resources.
• Observe and record children’s progress, sharing insights with the team.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent care and education standards.

Required profile

• Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential).
• Genuine passion for early childhood development.
• Positive, caring attitude and ability to work well in a team.
• Flexibility to start immediately.
• Previous nursery or early years experience is welcomed but not mandatory.
