Level 3 Nursery Practitioner – Early Years (Leckhampton)

About the role

We are looking for a passionate Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly team in Leckhampton. You will work with children aged 0‑2 years, creating a warm and stimulating environment where every child can thrive.

Key responsibilities

• Create a welcoming environment where each child feels valued.
• Lead and join in nursery rhymes, songs, stories and imaginative play.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Monitor and support the development of busy little learners.
• Assist with all aspects of children’s care and wellbeing.
• Encourage messy play, outdoor activities and fun‑filled learning experiences.
• Read stories, organise pretend tea parties and celebrate creativity.
• Bring humour and a positive attitude to the workplace each day.

Required profile

• Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years (essential).
• Experience working with children aged 0‑2 years in a nursery setting.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A caring, patient and nurturing approach.
• Full driving licence (advantageous but not mandatory).
