About the role
We are looking for a passionate Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly team in Leckhampton. You will work with children aged 0‑2 years, creating a warm and stimulating environment where every child can thrive.
Key responsibilities
- Create a welcoming environment where each child feels valued.
- Lead and join in nursery rhymes, songs, stories and imaginative play.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
- Monitor and support the development of busy little learners.
- Assist with all aspects of children’s care and wellbeing.
- Encourage messy play, outdoor activities and fun‑filled learning experiences.
- Read stories, organise pretend tea parties and celebrate creativity.
- Bring humour and a positive attitude to the workplace each day.
Required profile
- Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years (essential).
- Experience working with children aged 0‑2 years in a nursery setting.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A caring, patient and nurturing approach.
- Full driving licence (advantageous but not mandatory).
