Level 3 Nursery Teaching Assistant – 3‑4 days per week

About the role

We are looking for a Level 3 qualified Nursery Teaching Assistant to join a well‑established early years setting in Truro on a part‑time basis (3–4 days a week). The role offers a supportive environment where you will help children aged 0‑5 develop confidence and curiosity through play‑based learning.

Key responsibilities

• Support children in a nursery/EYFS setting, encouraging learning through play, creativity and exploration.
• Assist with daily routines such as activities, mealtimes and personal care.
• Provide consistent, nurturing care to ensure children feel safe and secure.
• Support children with additional needs where required.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a positive and engaging environment.

Required profile

• Level 3 Childcare/Early Years qualification (essential).
• Previous experience in a nursery or EYFS environment.
• Warm, patient and enthusiastic approach.
• Strong understanding of early years development.
• Ability to build positive relationships with children and staff.
