About the role
We are seeking a Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant to join an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team in Rochester. The role is full‑time on a daily supply/long‑term contract, supporting children aged 0‑5 in a nursery or primary school setting.
Key responsibilities
- Provide one‑to‑one and group support to EYFS children throughout the day.
- Deliver a phonics‑focused curriculum in line with current schemes of work.
- Assist teachers in preparing and implementing engaging, inclusive activities.
- Maintain a safe, nurturing environment and monitor children’s progress.
- Collaborate with staff to adapt resources for diverse learning needs.
Required profile
- Level 3 qualification in teaching or childcare.
- Demonstrated experience supporting children in the Early Years sector.
- Patient, caring approach with strong communication skills.
- Confident knowledge of phonics schemes and ability to work one‑to‑one.
