Liaison Officer – Resident & Site Coordination

About the role

We are seeking a people‑focused Liaison Officer to act as the main point of contact for residents during a major cladding remediation project in Basildon. The role combines customer service, stakeholder coordination and on‑site support for a 12‑18 month fixed‑term contract.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for residents, providing regular updates on works, timescales and progress.
• Handle enquiries, concerns and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Arrange and co‑ordinate access between residents and site teams.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, clients and subcontractors.
• Maintain accurate records of all communications and interactions.
• Work four days per week on the Basildon site and one day from the Ilford office.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a customer‑facing role such as Property Manager, Housing Officer, Lettings, Resident Liaison or similar.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Strong organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
• Professional, empathetic and approachable demeanor.
• Full UK driving licence is desirable.
• Based within a commutable distance of Basildon and Ilford.
