Lift Engineer Improver – Entry Level Role

About the role

Join KONE as a Lift Engineer Improver and support experienced engineers in delivering planned maintenance, minor repairs, and safety inspections across a variety of lift systems. Based in East Anglia, you will work on‑site, shadow service routes and gradually take on hands‑on tasks while building practical competence.

Key responsibilities

• Support experienced engineers with planned maintenance, minor repairs and safety inspections.
• Shadow service routes and assist with fault finding on lift systems.
• Gradually take on hands‑on maintenance tasks, learning different lift types, control systems and components.
• Prepare tools and equipment for service visits.
• Complete basic service documentation and ensure systems run safely and efficiently.

Required profile

• Some experience within the lift industry or a relevant engineering background.
• A willingness to learn and develop in a hands‑on role.
• Full UK driving licence.
