Project Manager – Interior Fit‑Out & Refurbishment

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join a fast‑growing interior fit‑out and refurbishment contractor based at its Peterborough head office. You will lead multiple commercial fit‑out projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage multiple interior fit‑out projects from inception to completion.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors and site teams.
• Plan and coordinate project programmes, monitoring progress against schedules.
• Ensure health and safety compliance across all works.
• Oversee subcontractors, materials and project resources.
• Control costs, monitor performance and maintain quality standards.
• Conduct site visits and provide leadership to on‑site teams.
• Build strong client relationships and deliver excellent customer service.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Contracts Manager within construction, fire protection, dry‑lining, ceilings, partitioning or fit‑out.
• Strong knowledge of contracts, regulations and construction processes.
• Excellent planning, organisational and communication skills.
• Commercial awareness and proven project‑management experience.
• Ability to lead teams and manage client relationships effectively.
• Full UK driving licence.
