Litigation Fee Earner – Up to £65k, Hybrid

About the role

Oculus Legal Group is expanding its Dispute Resolution team and is looking for a Litigation Fee Earner to join across its Devon/Somerset offices. This hybrid role offers the chance to manage a diverse caseload and develop specialist expertise in a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied litigation caseload from instruction through to resolution.
• Advise clients on contentious matters while delivering high‑quality client care.
• Draft pleadings, legal documents and correspondence to progress cases efficiently.
• Handle pre‑action procedures, negotiations and trial preparation as required.
• Liaise with courts, solicitors, clients and third parties throughout each case.
• Support business development through networking and marketing activities.

Required profile

• Experience as a Paralegal, CILEX professional, Legal Executive or Solicitor handling litigation matters.
• Background in any litigation area such as employment, landlord‑tenant, debt recovery, probate, immigration, criminal or possession proceedings.
• Strong organisational abilities and capacity to meet competing deadlines.
• Proactive attitude with meticulous attention to detail.
