Litigation Solicitor – Civil & Commercial Dispute Specialist

About the role

Our client, a well‑established private practice law firm in Slough, is expanding its litigation department and seeks a motivated Litigation Solicitor. You will manage a varied caseload of civil and commercial disputes, progressing matters from initial instruction through to resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Run a mixed litigation caseload independently, covering contract, property, debt recovery, professional negligence, probate, and partnership disputes.
• Provide high‑quality legal advice to a diverse client base.
• Draft pleadings, statements, applications and correspondence.
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediations and court proceedings.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory deadlines and case‑management requirements.
• Build long‑term client relationships and contribute to department growth.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with NQ to 6+ PQE in litigation or dispute resolution.
• Strong drafting, advocacy and analytical abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage a busy caseload.
• Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to client service.
• Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
