Lloyd's Insurance Broker – Non-Marine/Property XL Treaty

About the role

Join a well‑respected Lloyd’s insurance broker in the City of London. The team is looking for a Broker with at least five years of experience in a Lloyd’s environment, specialising in Non‑Marine and Property Treaty XL business. You will work in a dynamic setting and support senior management in delivering tailored reinsurance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new contract and renewal enquiries and submit them to underwriters.
• Develop and maintain relationships with underwriters, agents and clients.
• Research reinsurance companies and products to secure optimal terms and pricing.
• Arrange specialised reinsurance cover for complex cases, prepare reports and negotiate where required.
• Advise clients and agents on risk‑management strategies.
• Produce and process open‑market slips and assist with binding authorities.
• Assist in claims handling and ensure compliance with regulatory procedures.
• Perform general administration, maintain records and support the Divisional Director.

Required profile

• Minimum five years’ experience in a Lloyd’s broker role.
• Part CII qualification or equivalent (preferred).
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage time, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines without compromising quality.
